    I had a vortex viper 65mm spotter for atleast 5 years. No issues with it and spotted alot of animals. Was a good compromise weight vs quality vs price. And has a good warranty if you kick it with your boot ontop of a mountain

    Had it on a Manfrotto tripod which is 800grams. Goes up tall enough to sit behind but not stand
