    Spotting Scope and Tripod Options

We have drawn a Tahr block again for next year and I figure I wouldn’t mind finally getting my own spotting scope to help with assessing animals. Ideally I would grab a Swaro but that isn’t looking like an option for the time being.

I’m looking middle of the road at the moment, eyeing up the Leupold SX4 15-45x65 and the Vortex Viper 15-45x65. Would appreciate some feedback from those with experience and in this area.

When the time comes I will be willing to pay the money for a quality lightweight tripod too so interested in options there.

    Cheers
