From the little exp I've had, the poi shouldn't change much, but the groupings should tighten up.

Ive never actually thought about this till now, but in theory if the rail and rings are 100% then there should be no change

You should still be able to hit a A4 target at 100m. If you did'nt have any pressure points in either the POI should be pretty close.

Iv seen mine change an inch and a half or so, I think it's more how the rifle recoils differently

Seems we place a great deal of trust in the tolerances of receiver and chassis being perfect, and then cranking action screws up to high torque levels which if anything is ever so slightly out would stress receiver..? I’ve done it with Tikka and Oryx/MDT chassis without any obvious problems but it doesn’t feel quite right considering how much effort and precision goes into a good glass bedding job...?

If your hogue stock isn't bedded it could change a couple inches. The same as if you removed the barreled action to clean and then put it back in the factory stock. If it is bedded it should be around an inch or so in my experience. Could be less if your lucky. You def need to rezero.

A lot can change with swapping to chassis. Your shooting position will likely change with the different ergonomics of the chassis. Recoil will hopefully move to a more horizontal plane.

Also an increase in accuracy is not garunteed but it should be much nicer to shoot. What are you buying?
