    Supressor cover - what's best?

Took my rifle for an armed tramp last weekend with the supressor on, as I sauntered around the grassy bits looking for a dumb deer. I left it on when I did the bush bash through the jungle of supplejack (shit I love that stuff), and the twanging of vine on supressor was enough to shut the birdlife up. What do you guys use to wrap around your supressor (don't say "take the bloody thing off" - Reubags has already given me that advice - and a number of growly looks)

    Neoprene is the best
Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

    Piece of pushbike inner tube
Get a stuffed one from your local bikeshop.
Even come in a couple of different colours if you want to be a trendsetter !

I just wrap the non stick cammo tape stuff onto them. You can get it in black now.

Wrapped mine in gaffer tape - didn't get rid of the aluminium "ting" when it hit a branch completely but dulled it down and won't get soaked and heavier like neoprene can do in the rain

    Costs sod-all too

I got a neoprene one made down at Bodyline Wetsuits on Totata St @Lentil. Was about $25 from memory and was done in 2 hours.

The resin ones add a lot of weight.

The inner tube is OK but tends to perish and fall off, and is a pest to get on and off if you get a firm-size inner tube. I'm investigating heavy duty heatshrink that isn't resin-lined, but haven't stumbled over anything. When I have some time I will do the rounds of the electrical wholesalers and have a proper looksee...

    Agree,

pushbike inner tube works for me, and costs nothing... If it perishes ..replace it...
