    Swarovski El tether system

Anyone modified the tether system on the latest el ranges? I’ve just purchased a Marsupial Bino Bivy (nice kit) and the standard tether system isn’t compatible.

    Cheers

I had to get the xtra fittings that go on the bino that have the slots in them for the straps.

Got a Hunting and Fishing store near you? They'll order you a pair.

Fair enough mate! HB, what did you score, anyway? I'm definitely keen on getting a pair of traditional attachments to put on the ELs. Right now I have the bino bivvy plus a neck strap. Makes for a lot of cordage, although it's actually less hassle than I thought it would be. It's the trouble with proprietary systems.

Was lucky enough to get Frodo’s attachments as he doesn’t use them. Wouldn’t even take up my offer up of any reimbursement! Good buggar.

Send a PM to Swarovski NZ and they should send you a set if you ask nicely. On the Field Pro neck strap you can tuck the loose ends in the little compartments that are designed to take a spare battery. One each side.

Ordered some from Jacobs Digital. 20 bucks. I didn’t even know these existed. Had even considered taking to the neck strap with a pair of shears!
