    Talley rings and alignment bar

    Kia ora koutou.

    Gonna get some Talley rings for rem 700 270, and also a Talley alignment bar. Has anyone lapped the inside of the rings with the alignment bar and what sort of polishing paste? Im keen to avoid the dreaded Talley gark marks on scope.Usually I shoot Tikkas with inserted rings.... don't wanna use a weaver rail and Burris insert rings= twice the price and just don't like that system.
