They'll have to come down from that. I'd happily buy decently made local mags at a slight premium over importing to avoid the permits, shipping, etc

dont forget the 1-2 week shipping time, (as per there site)
rather buy spear mags, if i had to....
for now ill stick to importing
I would be prepared to buy quality locally made mags at $40 a pop. At this point in time it isn't worth spending $90+ on a mag when you can get an import permit for a 10 pack of Brownells GI mags.
I don't think that's going to be a permanent price. The website has only been up a day or 2
We'll catch up to US prices, here's hoping
I want your AR.
$95 for 1? jesus...
I just bought a 7rnd Spear price wasnt so bad $55NZ especially now the NZD has dropped so much
Ran some rounds through this today through a JP rifle with no fit or function issues.
just driver issues haha
They're dreaming at that price, I'll stick with Magpul thanks.
Think a better marketing approach would have been to come in at a realistic price to start with to generate a good local rapport and support.
I think what DPT did to the suppressor market in NZ is a good example, kept everyone honest and kept it real.
The problem is its expensive as hell setting up for mag production, he would have to sell them at stupid prices just to make back what was invested in the project. They will never be comparable cost wise to US sourced mags.
