Thread: A-TEC Suppressor suggestions please

I am about to purchase a tikka blackout chambered in 7mm PRC and am looking for help in picking a suppressor for it. Looking at either the A-TEC H3 or the Optimal 45, both with the braked end-cap. Any guidance is appreciated. Or if you think there is a better alternative brand or model, I am all ears.

I have the Atec h2 on my 24inch 7prc. Great sound reduction however it is longer past the barrel than the DPT mk2 I have on my 300wsm 24inch. I would have to do it again I would get a DPT for the 7prc to keep it shorter and lighter. The sound and recoil reduction on the 300wsm is already plenty with the DPT. Hope

Optima 45 would be my pic for a hunting rifle its pretty hard to beat being lighter and quieter than anything else out there expect the hardy stealth its the quietest but heavy as.

Hard to go wrong with Atec...the Optima 45 is a great moderator.

I would prefer the 50mm diameter and extra volume of the H3 on a 7mm PRC. The weigh difference is IMO, pretty negligible.
