A mini thirty and an SKS,
Some guy out Southbridge way has my old .300 Weatherby, loved that rifle, happily have it back.
My Weatherby vanguard .308, blued walnut. First centerfire rifle I owned. Learned to hunt by shooting goats and probably took well over 1000 with that rifle over the years I had it (didn't shoot and leave the goats, 90% got put to use) It wasn't anything special but it always hit the mark. There's something special about a rifle you have spent so much time using it becomes an extension of yourself. Didn't have any dial up scope back then or ballistic calculator...I could just tell where the bullet was going to go, inclines/declines would throw me off sometimes though haha! I was probably 15 when I first got it and my dad sold his Anschutz 1415 .22 to buy it which he bought when he was a teenager, funny coincidence was that the serial number of the vanguard was VL21415.
I’ve forgot!
@Maca49
Just tie a little pink woolen bow on yr current favourite tgen ask your good lady to put it in a safe place so you can't sell it through an absent minded "error".
:)
@Woody, I’ve bought and sold I don’t know how many, I always wanted a double, but was never in a position to have spare bucks to purchase and they tend to be like rocking horse shit!! I now have two of them and like all things you aspire to, once you have achieved the goal you home in on the next one!! Remember everything is for sale, it’s just timing and price, I try not to live with regrets, it chews up to much brain power and at my age I’m into preserving that essential service!!
Fair enough too @Maca49
:)
Kimber K22LR. Had 2, one plain stock and the other really well figured darker walnut. Buyer’s remorse from having 2 sold the pretty one, every time I look at the plain one (even though it’s a fine rifle) I regret it. Others Tikka 595 308, Remington 700 375H&H, Ruger Redhawk 44Mag (left in South Africa). And my ARs, M305s and SKSs.
Not a rifle but a scope I regret moving on.
A Luepy vari-x III 3.5-10x50...I had the reticle changed to a Luepold Dot and had an M1 turret installed on the elevation. It cost $1300 which at the time was a huge investment.
I caught the long range bug and decided I "needed" more magnification and foolishly sold it to a member on here.
Every now and then he posts a pic of it to remind me of my mistake:angry:
lots of them. but in particular the first 7-08 bushpig Tikka i had had a mcrae can on it that i can never replace. Then the series of 3 7mm rem mags. all were perfect. Attachment 137374 specifically this one here that was an ABE abomination and looked like a cheese cutter had gone all over it. (if anyone has this rifle please get intouch)
basically if i could i'd still have them all.
Only rifle I've parted ways with and it certainly wasn't by choice :(

Blaser R93 308 20in Black edition with fluted barrel. Grade 5 stock. Got a R8 black in 30-06 instead.
That R93 shot a ton of game.
No actually it was my a straight pull HEYM Keiler Concord fully engraved. Even my wife got pissed that I sold that for the R93.
Hey ho. They’d be no use in No anyway.
Mauser M98 1908 7x57......Mauser M98 1909 .270 Win.....Sako Vixen in mint condition (should have kept it as an investment - people are willing to pay ridiculous prices for them).
I wish I had never had to hand in my 9mm carbine, that I had never even fired, not once, that I had bought as my own Xmas present in Dec '18, and which that Stasi-clone Cahill and that horse-faced Socialist Ardern required me to hand in under severe penalty if I did not comply.
Even though, I had not relaxed the rules (as She had through the Cabinet Committee she chaired) and even though I had not armed the Australian immigrant (as her NZ Police factotums had).
Of course I handed it in, because I have a wife and children living at the address the COL knew.
And, of course I lost $$$, compared to what I had spent.
FYFF.
That is all.
A Rem model 7 wood/blue 308 still with the open sights and 4x32 Nikko sterling I got from Dave Shaw’s shop in Hamilton. 18” barrel had quite a bark. Sold it to get a Marlin 708. Should have kept it like a couple of old valiant’s I owned
Something I should have kept and passed onto the grand kids.

Got my first deer with my dad's 222 Remington 600 mohawk, unfortunately he got rid of it years ago.
Many years later I picked up another in 308. Doesn't really get used much anymore as I tend to take my 30-06.

My Tigr, even though it was a straight pull. Was the closest I got to owning an SVD which I still have a soft spot for.
I can’t even get an SVT-40 anymore :(

I won't get into the whole semi thing....
But do regret sellingy Ruger M77 mk2 stainless synthetic paddle stock in left hand guise...
Kimber 84m in 7mm 08 - little 2-7x Leupold on top - 2008 GFC saw that and my browning semi 12 g get turned into cash :(
I sold a very well-lapped CZ 308 to a guy in town.
Big mistake to sell a great rifle to someone in the same town.
He cut the barrel, did something else to the scope mounting points and heavily dinged the stock.
Looks like trash now. That poor thing
1943 Husqvarna M38 6.5x55, it was in mint condition and very accurate. Perfect example. Worth double what I sold it for. One of the only guns I should not have parted with.

My AR10
Had a heap of nice rifles & looking back now, the only real regret I have is parting with my early Model 94 30-30. I've often thought of others as I see similar rifles but it always comes back to that 94. Not keen on the current prices being asked for some that were not a patch on mine condition wise. I shall not have any more regret as I don't intend on selling anymore loved ones :D
Sauer 303 in 300 win mag to the buy back:oh noes: and Sako 75 Deluxe 7mm rem mag
