I have two of them and find them excellent scopes. They are light weight (compared with other manufactures), have crystal clear optics and with the IR and BT make them suitable for most hunting applications. They are also supported by Swarovski's legendary warranty and after sales service & support. If your mate is looking for something even lighter the Z6i 2.5-15x44 BT is designed specifically for mountain use.

That's a lot of scope for shooting out to 600. I'm very confident with my Z5 3.5-18 x 44 to there and just past on my bitsa Sako 75 7RM.Quote:
