Yep they would be the lightest, but I really like the alloy bedding block in the glacier stocks.

My Fisher stock from Rivers to Ranges Canterbury was 500g on the dot. Be pretty hard to beat for lightness I would think. Very nice stock and the t3x slotted perfectly into it.

Are they bases on a factory stock or do they have a higher comb

Basically quite similar to the factory shape but bit more of a vertical pistol grip than the factory. I would say comb height was similar from memory but @Fisherman will be able to answer all questions about these stocks better than me.

@25/08 IMP From my handling of them they are based on a tikka stock but the pistol grip is a bit more right angle and feels a bit fatter. Also the Glaicer stock has different options with check riser and pistol grips etc. there basic stock feels about the same shape as a tx3 stock

Im super happy with the Fisher stocks. Have had stug, hitech, manners and fishers is the best in my opinion for a lightweight durable rifle.

Yup Fishermans are legit & he's a top bloke to chat & deal with, my only gripe with the one I had was that he modeled the stock shape exactly off the Tikka - including it's weird arsed butt pad shape, so when he put a lightweight recoil pad on it sat at a very strange angle ( If you look at the factory T3 heavy rubber it's got a very big bum )

Philipo's First world problems aye lol

That's a problem as the Tikka stock needs a higher comb as well

The peak 44 is really a serious contender. I bedded one for a customer tikka. Glacier are so well made but a bit heavier.

The Rivers to Ranges stocks have a higher comb now...high has as it can go without interfering with the bolt.
