    Took it apart and used a small coping saw cut along the inside towards the back each side about half way then a sharp knife along the top.
    Snapped it out file the inside walls and shorten the the top bit back by filing. Then glued some plastic packers inside and the original bit on top. Added about 5mm of length to the mag.
