    Tikka t3 or browning x bolt?

    Hey guys,
    Little brother is looking for a new shooter in. .308.....I have a tikka and it does the business and is a well made rifle.
    Does anybody know much about the xbolt?
    They have a great half-cock and safety, seem like a nice gun.
    Basically the same price for both (bare) rifles new.

    Tikka. Trigger is superior and they all seem to shoot MOA or better out of the box..

    101 has a push fit barrel which is difficult to replace.

    Browning is too small and flimsy feeling for my liking, so another vote for T3X.

    Tikka creedmoor, having good results with mine and good factory ammo makes it a good choice

    Something else to factor, I believe the 308 xbolt has a 1:12 twist vs the 1:11 for the tikka?

    handled a browning over the Christmas break....it was a VERY slick action and rifle was just plain sexy all over...SS and wood was a nice diference...didnt matter that bolt stuck out wrong side for me it was still a VERY tidy rifle with curves in all the right places....shot pretty darn well too considering how hot the 150grn superpreformance stuff was (and how inconsistant) owner shot deer with it soon afterwards....yip very nice rifle all around.

    101 does, Sauer 100 is standard threaded (and cheaper).
