I have shot a few bull tahr but have yet to shoot one further than 250m away. Where have I gone wrong? I think for shots out to 400m then a flat shooting load, a good range finder with TBR and knowing exactly what your load does drop wise will work. Beyond that I think dial up makes a real difference. One of the biggest differences is that you have absolute confidence the projectile is going exactly where you aim it. You cant beat that. In fact I like it for shots over 250m. Plus the animal deserves it. Reading back over the comments here I think there have been some really good points made and thoughts given. :thumbsup: Thinking about your scope there is nothing wrong with it. However re doing a load for your rifle that takes it to next level and then buying a dial up scope that really helps make the most of your calibre and new load might also help you scratch the retail itch. Could be a win win.
