Yes, I have 8x40. They are right up there with the expensive Euro binos.
I had the 10x40 but wrecked them with a very bad scratch when they caught on barb wire. Claimed insurance and got the 8x40. I think the 10x are better for looking at Tahr and heads and such like and the 8x are fantastic scanning for animals.
I aslo have a couple of Toric scopes. They are excellent too. Their service and quality is top notch.

Hi Tract expert @Tahr, dragging up an old thread but how do you get Tract products to NZ? I see they ship to NZ for ~$70 but are there any gotcha's or import permits needed for binos? Are we allowed to bring binos into NZ in hand luggage?

They are excellent binos. No import problems. They are great to dal with. Just go through their website - they only direct market. They answer questions promptly. You might or might not get hit by GST. Seems to depend on what mood customs are in.Quote:

If you email them they will give you a better price on the freight. They are good guys & replied promptly to my queries.
