    Traveling with a scope from NZ to Oz, any paperwork required?

    Hi,
    Is there any requirement on the Ozzie side for taking a riflescope over there ? ( in checked luggage obviously)

    Is that for everything or just certain products? Seems like a bit of a waste of resources to get an export chit for a cheaper scope... I was under the impression it was high-end scopes and dual-use products like thermal or night vision scopes???
