Ummmm, what do I do with it?

Down to the range this evening, first time I've fired any of the bang sticks for a good few months and I get this.

One down the tube roughly looking at the target then three shots paying a little more attention with the 243. I grabbed a cleaning frame and gave it a good scrub, then put an oiled patch down the barrel and put it away.

I'm thinking three clicks up and one left first to have me zeroed 50mm high at the 100m.

Clearly you need more time away from the rifle if that is what it does to your shooting GM

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

Well I had not shot this one for a year, and not with any powder burning rifle for over four months.

I think I need to work on my fitness, ... looks like I'll need to get to know it better and carry it around and start this hunting lark.

Was about 5 minutes between shots on a cold night with me wandering about and the barrel had previously been scrubbed 'within an inch of its life'. I'm 99% sure the first shot being out was me. After that I relaxed the body and concentrated a bit better. It just seemed to shoot so smoothly and quietly, it didn't feel like it was being forced.

So long as you weren't going for a head shot...projectile would go past its nose or behind its ear...easiest solution is to tip rifle on its side, should be good out to 300.

    OK fusspots!

Need to go up 15mm and left 5mm.

    Up: (15mm/25.4) * 0.9144 = 0.54" = 2 clicks

    Left: (5/25.4) * 0.9144 = 0.18" = 1 click or leave where it is.
