Im sure if you run the numbers from 300-800 or similar we will see what tussock was saying, in that the lighter faster projectile generally only has an advantage at short distances as it sheds its velocity quickly by comparison to a heavier, higher BC projectile.

Ya Chris. As it also shreds your rifling it is probably not worth it.
