    Vepr or AR-10?

Wanting to put money towards something to replace my SKS... I love my semi's and want something that can be used in the bush as well as the range. Hence why I'd rather the ar-10 over the 15. Currently stuck between these two. - I know the vepr is a strange choice.. but i love my 54Rs and its a-cat from factory

I vote for the Vepr or an SVD. Personally not a fan of AR10's.

Theres a .308 zastava on trademe, you can modify M14 magazines slightly which will fit them also.

Is the Vepr going to be accurate enough for range work? I suppose it's what you expect to get out of it but even though I lived I the federation for several years I still can't say Thiet rifles are as precise as their American counterparts.

I've heard they are surprisingly good shooters for a large caliber semi auto. They use an RPK receiver too.. so built solid!

Have you thought about the M305(Chinese M1a)
For the price point it's hard to go past
