Vortex Razor LHT - anyone have?

Looking at options for a lightweight, dialable hunting scope and came across these. They sound like what I want on paper but there is really scant real world experiences to be found, apart from some wanky American YT videos. I was naturally inclined to pick up one of the mil VX5's, but some of the reported issues are a bit of a turn off so it would be interesting to see how the razor compares.

IMHO the razor is a better scope except for the illumination.

I have see the Razor, recommended 2 friends getting it, and myself came rally close in getting one too.

    I also compared it to a VX5HD.

Glass - a draw to my eyes. Others report VX5 is a hair better.

    Weight - same

Reticle - I like reticles with lots of hold options, LHT is way better IMO (and I am comparing to VX5's HTMR). I also like the design of LHT's reticle that there is no top vertical line, like a German 1.

Optical functions - A. LHT can focus really close like 15yd, making it great as a rimfire target scope. VX5 is 50 yd. B. I did not compare this point but I think on paper LHT has slightly smaller FOV. C, VX5HD has a slightly larger diameter and thus must have slightly better light gathering. LHT has a 50mm version but has a different reticle (G4i). Some may like it, I am less enthusiastic about it.

Build and feel - somewhat subjective, VX5 feels somewhat better, VX5 has that premium feel to it, while LHT feels a bit less.

Dial - I did not test this extensively, but all the reports I have seen say LHT is rock solid accurate. VX5's reputation is 50/50.

Illumination - while VX5 has better illumination, it is limited to a few reticles (fire dot and what else?) and most reticles do not get illumination. All LHT has illumination.

Availability - It is very very hard to get a mil VX5. mil LHT is available in abundance.

Zero-stop adjustment limit - VX5 wins at 15.2 mil over LHT's 11.9 mil. But LHT can go without zero stop, I am not sure if you can do disable zero-lock on VX5.

Personally I would get the LHT.
