Thread: Vx5HD whats the big deal?

As per the title, what is better than the next scope with these? looking at one on a good deal and undecided.

Probably the fact that you know if you are on your first turn or second turn of the turret. The fact that the turret have more than 15 Moa of elevation which Swarovski quite not does.The turrets are low profile and have less chances of getting entangled in scrub and wines.
A good magnification range. If they could only have some first focal plan options for them ....

Quality for the money.

Great scopes for the $ I sold my 2 z5 and brought 2 of them with the firedot good value for money if you shop around.

not so much a big deal... more of a good deal. +1 for what @Friwi said. Good glass, great mag range for hunting. Why would you pay $1k more for a VX6 HD. Only thing for me is reticle or choice of reticle. Love the windplex even more so with firedot. There is?was? a VX6 2-12x42 on TM recently LR firedot reticle that was asking around VX5 prices

They are good value for money, there are better scopes out there but will cost you a lot more.

Great glass, great turrets, Zero Lock turret is awesome, not too heavy, decent selection of reticles, and great mag range.
