You would need to be more specific whith what you want to do with your rifle for me to make the call either way.
You are on the right track tho, I think they are the best two options for a lightweight long range rifle.

I don't mind the turrets each there own
I Spose, don't find the windage turret being capped an issue.
Cam if your trying to go light that 30-40 grams is a big issue.
I'd take 44mm over 50mm for that reason alone.
