    VX6-Who has the best deals?

Ok so thinking of getting a VX6 2-12x42, I see Outdoor Supplies has them at $1800 are there any retailers out there doing better deals on them? Unless someone has a second hand one they are looking to move?

Also those of you who are running them, are you happy with them, pros/cons? Cheers

I emailed OS at the start of the week, their prices are up to date and accurate for VX6.

I have one. Can't fault it. Bright and big field of view. Fairly thick plex reticle on mine, but ideal for hunting. I prefer it to my 3-15 Zeiss HD5.

Would prefer locking turrets on the VX6 though.

Yes. I've used Giles for just about everything over the last 30 odd years.

yep, great scopes & optics. Use it on my 280 AI. Mine has the firedot reticle which I find very handy. Also have a couple of Zeiss HD5 3-15x42 ... one has better optical clarity than the VX6 the other slightly less. Just goes to show there is variation in scopes from pretty much every manufacturer.

    Very happy with mine.
They dial accurately and are very good optically.
The only things I would really like improved are for them to have a more positive feel to the adjustment clicks and a zero stop.

I got a 2-12 2nd hand off here. Its nice but the duplex reticle looks as if its been drawn on with a vivid. It needs to go back to factory to get sorted when i can be bothered. The clicks are poos which make the need for a zero stop. If the made the clicks like the mk4s itd be mint.
Also gotta 3-18 fine duplex which is primo except for poo clicks but has zero stop. They both dial sweet enough for joe blogs. I rekon they were priced right when they came out, for the money they were the top pick. But now for what theyre wanting id look at others as well.

Dont waste your time chasing every last fps, it doesnt matter in the real world, it wont make a difference, all it will do is cause head aches and frustrations. And dont listen to silly old cunts
