    Not sure if it's walnut, but pretty cool tiger strip grain. 7x57 Brazilian mauser. Still shoots minute of deer at 100m!

    I think I will have to call this one finished or I'll never stop stuffing around with it.
    Hopefully get out and shoot it soon now that I think I have fixed the cause of the accuracy issues.

    Cheers mate, hopefully I can get it to shoot as good as it looks. I've already started amassing the parts for my next one, a shorter suppressed 338-06 with a carbon stock

    Yes, an oldie but a goodie, formerly known (with a .333" bullet) as the Westley Richards .318 Nitro Express that accounted for thousands of big game back in the day.

    I'm hoping to send 230gr eldx's at 2600, that'll be just like a 18" 6.5 creedmoor, with 60% more grunt
