Yeh I noticed those. It is a fucking worry because if you had of asked me last week I would have told you that the rifle was a pearler. I am looking forward to the feedback of the uber techo's on here as I wouldn't expect to see that sort of damage on a 303 that had been used extensively trough WW1 & WW2 and been an in use cullers rifle since then.

What size pills are they, doing 2670? Not uber hot loads but maybe hot? What primers are you using? Do they seat nice and firm in the pocket? That's looking like primer flash erosion. Do your fired cases have a black ring around the primer?
I think those gouges at 4 and 7 o'clock are unrelated. Maybe more to do with a feeding issue from the mag.
10MRT shooters do it 60 times, in two directions and at two speeds.
