Hey guys just after some advice I’m trying to decide what brand of 7mm rem mag to buy. I like the look of the kimber mountain Ascent, browning x bolt hells canyon, and tikka t3. Anyone have any experience with these rifles? Cheers

Buy a tikka go shooting and hunting job done:D
Yea they aren’t a bad option straight out of the box
I agree with buying a Tikka, but put a limbsaver on it.
Yea I’ve got a tikka in another caliber, just thought I might try something different if there worth the extra coin
I have Sendero
Nuff said
I went to the dark side last year brought a tikka 270 wsm of all things i like it alot they just shoot so good:cool:
Hi I got a Kimber Mountain Ascent in 6.5 Creedmore, it shoots realy well, better than I though being such a super light rifle, the only thing I have against it is the feel, it doesn't have that feel of quality like my Sako, and I don't like the safety switch. I really think that you get a more rifle for your $ if you buy a Tikka.
Cheers Lalle
Have a look at the A7. For me the stock just feels right.
Tikka's are good value, but the difference between the factory recoil pad and the Limbsaver I put on my 300 Win Mag is very noticeable, as Stug said well worth it.
Tikka T3x Superlite (stainless fluted barrel)
Theres a sako brand new bavarian 7mm Rem mag in Taupo Hunt Fish a shit load discounted under normal retail. I would buy it in a flash if I had the spare$$
Thanks for your advice mate I’ve had tikkas for the past few years and they are great guns just thought I would try something different but judging on the advice I’m getting it’s going to be hard to go past the tikkas
Sometimes different is good, they will all kill deer! I like to mix things up from time to time. As mentioned it's hard to go past Tikka, especially with the options to customise etc.
Mate just bought a Sako A7 in 7 mag, it is a tack driver, even with factory ammo. I really liked the feel of the stock, especially when your hands are cold and slippery.
Another mates got a browning hells canyon, again noice rifle but I havent had a chance to see it perform.
I love my Brownings (have 4), but out of the two I'd go the Sako.
Have you looked at the magazine length in each of them ?
If other things were equal you could get better performance reloading to a longer COAL. Heavier bullet, more powder, perhaps closer to the lands.
yes. I'd love to own it. Drooled over it again this morning. Around $2700 I think. Good deal.Got nice wood on it too!
The Bavarian's are very nice. I picked one up in 375h&h the other week. The set trigger will spoil you.
I have one in 308win. Set trigger is really nice. Tack driver.
Light is not always best when it combs to magnums , iv got a hells cannon its pretty good , not a huge fan of the short stocks / trigger but I put a light spring in that helped trigger pull a lot .
Hey does anyone have any experience with the Bergara B14 hunters? Picked one up in H&F and It felt nice. Quite well priced as well
