    What Scope Rings?

    Hey Guys
    Just recently purchased a Zeiss HD5 5-25x50 and I am going to get a tikka t3x........What scope rings would you put on it? I don't want use Weaver rings......thanks!

    I'd try some optilocks, have always had a good run with these

    Burris Zee rings every time for me - for Tikka's you need to get specific bases, either weaver style bases, or the Remington ones & then Burris Zee rings to suit. Big advantage of the Zee rings over Optiloks is the variable moa inserts that allow you to set your scope up with 5, 10 or 20 moa slope for long range. Also I find the Optilok screws are very easy to strip which is a giant pain in the arse when you come to try and remove or loosen them.

    Got the same scope in Talley rings - think they're medium from memory but keep in mind how big the front lens is. Think its 56mm outside diameter without going and measuring so the mounts need to be high enough to clear the barrel. You may need the "high"mounts depending on the barrel contour.
