Bare rifle = "6lbs and under" is a common rule of thumb to define light weight.
Too many variables in scopes, rings, suppressors, etc when you start adding those in. Choice of scope will have a significant bearing on final all up weight.
Yeah i reckon.
My Model 7 7mm SAUM weighs in at under 5.5 lbs bare (Standard 22" heavy barrel but flutted) with a Stug CF stock, Fluted bolt and skeletonised bolt handle. Smack on 7lbs once it has talleys and a 4-16x50 scope on it.
