    What's a nice 22

Wouldn't mind a really nice 22 bolt action, Anschutz, Browning T bolt, Sako Finnfire. What others are worth consideration, thoughts ?
Shoot it, root it & then BBQ it !!!

big boy gun tho, they are reasonably heavy so make for a nice off hand shooter. no good for an 11yo or a girl.

Pre 1967 Brno model 2. I look out for these and if the stock is not very good restock in fancy walnut , remove sights, reblue, modify Ruger rings to fit. Beautiful.

    Stay off the ridgeline.
The only good assumption is to assume that movement, shape, colour, sound, is always human. Follow this rule and identify your target.

Of course you would, theres there's no way you would be brave enough to say no, or that she would take that as an answer.
I would happily be her pre fight warm up.

Too right, I'm sure I could give her button a good tuning. Failing that I'm sure there's other electronics she's in to.....

Depends on what you mean by "Nice".

CZ , Anshutz and Weirauch / Krico come to mind straight away, but it will all come down to your budget and your preferences. I really like a CZ in full wooded mannlicher style stocks, but that may not be what floats your boat. As far as performance goes, the four I mentioned first would be good starters.

I like the early pre 68 Brno's. I have a 1950 Model 1 and 1959 581 Auto. Been looking for an early model mint Brno Model 5 for years. Then, when visiting a local in the course of my job I came across a chap who had two of them. Offered him $1,200 for one and was turned down flat.
