About LinkBacksStevens are good base rifles. I had a Stevens 243 and with a new adjustable trigger plus bedding and stiffening of the forent I had it shooting 8-12mm groups with my handloads. If you were to get a new stock and trigger it'll shoot well. If you put a new barrel on as well it'll shoot even better. It's just an older model Savage and everyone knows they shoot well.
In saying that I probably wouldn't sell a new Sako for one but an older one to buy a new barrel and stock maybe?
