Thread: Who's built off or uses a Stevens 200?

Nothing wrong with a stevens, but needs trigger work. If you like shooting off a bipod then a better stock should be on the list but otherwise it's easy to stiffen up the front.
Wouldn't bother changing the barrel unless it obviously isn't shooting as most savage/stevens are very good. If you were to replace the barrel/change calibre I would look hard at getting a prefit barrel in from the states - it will save money on the barrel and the gunsmith fitting it here.
