The Saiga AK-103 was $700 New on Trademe buy now. The Pistol grip was $5 U.S , Magazines $20 U.S each and the folding stock was about $100, steel Chinese and came in as stocks for Paintball guns.Bought off Trademe. Took 15 minutes with an angle grinder and drill to fit it back to a AK47.
The Saiga needed a feed ramp and some tampering to accept and feed from the AK47 mags reliably.
All up about one -two hours in the shed with a file and drill. Then off to the Station to ask please Sir can I have this on My E-Cat???.
