Who's interested in an ECAT MP5?

I have recently been in touch with Paul at Aoraki ammunition about procuring an MP5 from the MKE factory in Turkey. I've handed my permit in to police for this model:

We are just waiting to hear back from MKE so if anyone else is interested in acquiring one get in touch.

There was a battle over importing these a few years ago. Police would not let them in as the armoury considered them to be converted machine guns. I know because a friend tried to get a permit for one. Hopefully things have changed. PTR has also released their 9mm MP5 clone, it's available via Brownells.

Have seen two on E, so they are already here... Bloody plodquarters

There are a couple HK91's on E, but the uppers are modified so they wont fit a Normal HK trigger pack. Not sure about these

@Beavis importing one of the PTR's could be plan B if it falls thru importing an MKE one.

@Cordite so fine you must of been too excited to spell weapon correctly ;-)

Got an email from Police today, my import permit has been revoked, unfortunately.

At least I can still look at the picture. Yay.

They are fun to shoot... I had a play with one in South Africa (open day with all kinds of weird and restricted toys).

A bit more "plasticky" than I expected, but wouldn't say no if offered another go on one. The 3-round burst is AWESOME :-)

Russian 22.

Gsg make a 22 lr version. They make a special version I forget what it's designated. But it has a longer barrel for countries with minimum length laws.
