    whos keen to teach me how to bed a rifle stock?

    I have a tikka (in a new boyeds stock) id like to bed but rather than send it away to be done I wouldn't mind doing it myself (under supervision) as I have a few more I would like to do as well I'm in hellensville so if there's someone local that knows what they are doing and wouldn't mind spending a couple of arvos showing me pm me

    Too far away to help sorry but nathan forster terminal ballistics has a couple of good clips of how to do it. Watch them and then have a go on the least important rifle, its really quite easy, and as with most things its just common sense and confidence

    It's a good skill to learn too.

    Hope someone can help you out.

    In the meantime there is some very good YouTube videos that show how it should be done and Not done.

    Check out how Larry Potterfield does it, this will give you a good idea of what's involved.

    mate if a dumb arse truck driver like myself can do it with one of Nathans kits....well anyone can.
    the book that has bedding instructions in it is worth a read aswell for all the other bits you gain. Nathan is more than generous with assistance and advice.

    @Micky Duck

    I've never met a dumb arse truck driver in my life.

    Some I've met are just slightly misguided and talk to much
