Thread: Winchester mod 70 Extreme Weather thoughts

Anybody had anything to do with one of theses?
Im lookiing at one in 300 WSM for a long range hunter.

Just having mine turned into a.284. Good solid platform a little heavier than what they say on the website but i don mind that. Mine was a bit crooked i just found out but by all other accounts theyre absolute tack drivers. Youd have to go up to a sendero to get the same features from anyone else. Id buy amother no worries. Duno bout the caliber thougj:eek:

They look very nice with bell and carlson stock and fluted barrel. What contour is the barrel? Whats the build quality like?

I thought it was great. Turned out my action needed trueing but thn again ive heard that.about 3k senderos

Its prob no help but my winny 243 is frickn awsome so Dont think youl go wrong with any winny grinny

Yes I think they look like the business. I've got mod 70 lightweight in 308 already and its a tack driver. Im not keen on the sendero's, would love to get my hands on mod 70 laredo. Still not sold on the 300 wsm yet tho.

Never heard of the loredos gunna have to google it.
I like the winchester base the mauser extractor three position saftey.

They are well built, finish of the inside an out, heavy action but much same as the older tikkas m595 695 etc with the bigger flat bottom.
