Been talking to taihape sport 1550 for duplex 1700 for firedot. Any had experience with either \both? worth the 150 extra for firedot?

If you are a bush Hunter the firedot is great I have 2 of them and you don't have to have it on all the time which is a great idea. Originally Posted by Tucky12

The duplex is good enough in the dark bush, its a nice thickness, the firedot is better though. If I bought mine again id go windplex for sure Originally Posted by Tucky12

The firedot option is very worthwhile if the bank balance allows, not just in low light but I find it also helps with focusing you on the exact point of aim. Aim small !
