    Hi all new to the forum. I’m after a vx5hd 3-15-44 preferably fire dot.

    Been talking to taihape sport 1550 for duplex 1700 for firedot. Any had experience with either \both? worth the 150 extra for firedot?

    If you are a bush Hunter the firedot is great I have 2 of them and you don't have to have it on all the time which is a great idea.
    Is it worth it yip I think so.

    The duplex is good enough in the dark bush, its a nice thickness, the firedot is better though. If I bought mine again id go windplex for sure

    Which is a long winded way to say they will all work sweet buy what you think you prefer

    The firedot option is very worthwhile if the bank balance allows, not just in low light but I find it also helps with focusing you on the exact point of aim. Aim small !
