    Very nice, mate! Yep a practical rifle for all sorts of situations.

    I have a little Marlin .357 carbine with a Leupold VX2 1-4x20 in Weaver super low rings and of course a hammer extension. Absolute honey of a gun. Have often thought a 336 like yours would be a great companion with maybe a 2-7 x 33 scope.

    What are you thinking scope-wise?
