The front piece if you like on an older 4 power loopy is 39.47 , I have a weaver K4 it is 39.47 also , as above the 2- 7 x 33 will be 39.47 as well but might be too short for you ? , I have one of those also if you want more measurements.

What size if a Vixen 2-8x32. A few owners on here using as a cheap light bushpig scope might be able to measure

Leupold 1.5-5 or the new one I think is 2-6 no bell on looky out end short will fit perfecto

He wants to use the rings it comes with which wrap around the front housing at the moment it was a very old weaver 4x scope on it but would love a 3x9
