    Zeiss Spotter 60

    Hi GUys ,

just a few pics of me new Spotter scope .
Its a Zeiss Spotter 60 , 72mm objective lens , 20-60x power zoom range , a " L " shaped mildot reticle in the FFP , so it grows with power , its also lit .
Has Flourite lens , is 1.77 kg
    Lenght 334mm width 100mm height 163mm .
    Focusing 20m to infinite .

Initial impressions , are its smaller & lghter than I thought it would be , I would like the reticle to have 1/2 mil marks as well , BUT it is what it is , for now .

    Accessories for it are .
    Sunshade
    ARDs
    Laser filter
    digi adapter

Pics of reticle are at 20 & 40x
Range to hill is 2.5- 3 km

    Later Chris

Tweed or not to Tweed that is the question

    Re: Zeiss Spotter 60

Nice piece of kit! I use one of the larger SLIK tripods with mine. I found it very good at picking up bullet trace and the reticle is great for "splash" correction.

Just some news on the Zeiss Spotter , there are now 2 models available , the original spotter 60 ( 20-60x ) & now the Spotter 45 ( 15-45x ) , and the lower mag model deserves consideration , as at 15x lowest it would be much quicker to pick up tgts etc , they say the model is aimed at hot temp places like Astan Iraq etc where mirage makes 20x too much to be able to see clearly .
