    2018 Kaimanawa Trip

    Good Morning,

    I had a neat trip into the Kaimanawa's 2 weeks ago. We had a great time and managed to get some hunting done in between the crap weather! We had everything from sun to snow. The frustrating thing was the best roaring action was on the bays with crap weather. One of the days dawned clear, windless, sunny and with a touch of frost. however on this day and the one after the roaring was basically nil!

    I had a few encounters with deer and managed to knock a couple of stags over which was good. But it was just great to be out there and explore some new country.
