Thread: 45/70 Too Noisey

The 45/70 seems funny to me.
It's way too big for our critters, kicks way too much (at least in full loads) , has the flight path of a poorly thrown brick, the paper specs on bullet energy goes out the window at any sort of range, can devour huge amounts of powder if let use, but i have definitely seen a pattern of its popularity. Those that have use one love it and those that haven't dont know what they are missing.
With enough baffles they are very pleasant to shoot and with subs are surprisingly quiet.
My last sub shot sika was taken with a 410gr soft cast HP and i was impressed on the damage. Forget about eating upto the hole, probably only a fist full of meat saved from both shoulders
