Any lengths for a leave pass

Just spent a couple of days away hunting with Steve338 and the wife!Being her birthday on Friday the only way I could get out for a hunt was to take her.
Being 5 months pregnant the bloody kitchen sink had to come too. The hunting itself was hard work. Hot and dry and windy like only Marlborough can be.
Despite this the two of us went for a wander and Steve headed down a seperate gully kindly putting up a spiker for us .When the wife spied it he was doing Mach 5 across a face across from us . I had a fair idea where he might pop out and sure enough he appeared on another face in front of me. Problem was I had no rest and it looked a reasonable distance. not really having time to think too much I got down on one knee ,slammed a round home and let rip. The wifes yelling confirmed a hit. I ranged it after the shot 285 yds off the knee on the run. Couldnt do it again if I tried. He needed a finisher as the first has slowed him down ( aka shot in the butt ).

Still someone thought this hunting caper was all pretty easy.Steve 338 also managed a nice yearling and a couple of pigs!

All in all a good couple of nights away. I needed some more meat as this time of year its usually venison something 3 or 4 nights a week.
    Until next time - cheers

Don't let her get toooo fond of it. Nek minit you will be at home with the kids while she wanders the hills! Then the maimai will have potted flowers, and the boat will only be allowed out for half an hour..............

Fantastic Nathan. Bloody good shot (even if there should have been a bit more lead.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
