Blue Mountains Fallow Deer Rut 2012
Had a few days in the Bluies recently thanks to Tim. A few Bucks going for it. Got some basic footage of one. Nothing better than my current best so most were left to run free, intentionally or not... The bush was very dry this year making it really hard to stalk, nice to get out anyway.

It was 4:30pm on the second day, I had just started floundering towards the car telling myself "the next deer I see is dead" when I heard a deer crashing through the bush close by. I stopped thinking I had spooked something but the sound was getting closer, next thing a silly spiker pops his head around the corner hoping I was to be his new girlfriend...

Rough Video clip - A bit shaky due to nerves. Any tips on editing and programs for dealing with AVCHD or getting the best out of a Panasonic DMC-TZ20 would be most welcome. Turn the sound up to hear the croaking:)
