Fantastic
That was cool. Thanks for sharing that little slice of history.
Very interesting thank you.
Do you have any plans to bag an animal with the Rifle?
Great video nice country too
Excellent, some very cool history. Thanks for sharing
Very cool vid on a bit of hunting history.
Thanks Tim.
Very cool. Great watch. Thank you.

good stuff.
Very cool
Great stuff Tim, Loved it, hate those sand flys tho!!
I'm thinking probably not....it's such a valuable bit of history I'm loath to do serious hunting with it. Apart from the Wapiti it took some amazing Red Stags around Manapouri, so it's had quite the career already. I've got a few other rifles I really need to take hunting too.
That was a fantastic video well done was good to see, and a great endorsement for those pack rafts too.
That’s the most enjoyable and interesting hunting video I’ve seen for a very long time.
thank you
Great vid, thanks for posting. Was there for the ballot a few years ago, awesome spot.
How long has your family had the rifle?
thanks for sharing it is a place I will never get to being too bloody old now but I just did thanks to your vid
Hats off to ya for following in the footsteps of those hunters that have passed on!
Great video and idea. Thanks for being such a passionate caretaker of an important relic of NZ hunting.
Great video and a step back in history , well done.
Thanks for sharing that , just great , especially doing it with your father , they were incredible shots with open sights the old hunters
Hey Southcity I am keen to engage I see you have the same rifles Dakota M10 in 257 roberts and Mauser 201 in 22 I have a few questions
Cheers

Old man has/had a 280 Ross.
Still haven't got around to asking him if he still has it.
We aren't that close so just as likely to have sold it
