    cham trip

After an average mission down south in september we set off again in march. Across the ferry and down to aickens base to meet up with simon seen us on the tops on the same day. Had 3 blue bird days and one shitter so plenty of hunting time to be had. Managed a couple of nice 9inch does and 2 bucks over 9.5 inches so we were rapt! One of the bucks spotted at 2km so made for a bloody good hunt. saw 13 cham all up. only one spiker seen but no suprises there with the 1080 and waro pressure. All in all a brilliant trip with a good mate in a beauty part of nz.
chucked up another couple photos of late too.
    Cheers, Cam

Nice pictures. How was the Olympus on the tops? I just brought one so I don’t have to use my MSR on the exposed tops.

Yea I've had that Olympus for 6 years its been in some horrible weather, worst being in the able lake tahr block. It handles everything very very well. Worth that little bit more weight anyway
