    Chatham Islands Ram Hunt

If you like rugged scenic views, high cliffs and coastal views combined with adventure and great mates, then you'll love this video.

Just a warning, some wild sheep and pigs do end up dead...

    I hope you enjoy.

Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

    Good Rams btw.

The track was all good, pretty much dry all the way out there except in a few boggy areas. I imagine that after rain it’s a different story.

It’s an amazing place, as you know, we saw all sorts of game; the sheep, pigs and wild cows. The cows were a long way off and on the neighbours place.

    Did you dive while there?
I got good crays on snorkel out by the Sports Club.
Never play rugby if invited tho...they are hard.
I can highly recommend a few names if anyone needs contacts
    It's a farking great place
    Thanks for sharing your hunts

No diving this time. But grabbed some Paua out of knee deep water.

Yeah I also forgot to add that I have the contact details from a guy who does ram safaris.

Was it particularly expensive? Would be nice to go there along with Stewart Island.

Awesome video, those were some very nice Rams you shot. Is it very costly to hunt there ?

Say return flights for $1,000, you can get them cheaper if book in advance.

A hunt on Pitt Island will cost you around $1,000 including the little plane over there. Google ‘Flower Pot Lodge’ for more information on that.

A hunt in the main island will cost around $650 a day for the guide and then $250 for each ram.

Sounds quite reasonable, is that flying from Wellington?
