    Christmas beer now paid for with Venny

    I dusted off the mountain bike and pedalled up the Rimutaka incline road last night, saw three hinds feeding in some Toitoi, I lined up the smallest one and flattened it at probably just over 100m. I tied her to the bike and walked back out this morning, I passed a group of walkers heading in, I must have looked a sight taking my dead deer for a bike ride.
    She was big for a yearling, I started getting that guilty feeling when I was gutting her, luckily she wasn’t preggas or I would have felt like a bit of an asshole. I'll drop it off to a mate later on to trade for my Corona's

    3 dozen is my going rate, very cheap venison but for mates that's the deal.

    cheers mate, I can only hope. Its just time in the hills that's all, I'm in a fortunate position where I can get a lot of mid week time off work, what else is there to do when the wife is at work and kids are at school ?
