    Couple Chamois

    Few pics from a trip in Jan. Also got a few thar but no pics of those. Mint spot nice weather, pics can say the rest

    Not really a suitable way of wording that question But I think I know what ya mean. They are not that big animal. (Antelope) 30-40 kg live weight, for an adult. With a few exceptions. Those heads as far as trophy quality are not too bad at all.
    How big Hillclima, one looks to be around 9 1/2 ish?

    i have never had much to do with chammy, prob coz i live in the north island. they are a very pretty animal, and i think they look great on the wall. i would like to get one one day. well done looks like you had a good few days. what caliber do you use for them?

    They aren't very big animals, the one I'm holding on the left is missing it's jaw so makes it look even smaller, and is 9 3/4, the one on the right is 9.5 so good guess there!

    I was using 7mm WSM, which is a bit of an overkill for Chamois but it's what i use on everything.

    Great stuff where are you. Im not asking for exact catchment just general area. If you wanted to say the catchment i would be quite interested too.
