This is a commission I have just completed of a customers dog working from a photo -all engraving is freehand engraved using a dental drill .The dog is engraved into the back of the crystal so it is more 3D and more sculptural but obviously I have to engrave it deeper and in mirror image which does take a lot more time, but more effective done like this.

yes this is my full time occupation (32 years) first 25 years I had bread, butter, and Jam with a glass of Champagne, but now in this recession it's definitely a CRUSTQuote:

Depends how it is done and the piece of crystal it is engraved on , this one is engraved into the back of the block which is more work than engraving on the front of a piece also it is on best quality optical crystal -I charged the customer £300 for this one .Something like a whisky tumbler with a dogs head portrait would be £75Quote:

I'm not big on paintings of deer etc but the "Red deer tumbler" image 29 of 87 brought back some memories
