I was lucky enough to be allowed access to a private block up the back of Wanganui during the fallow rut. Took the camera for a walk and got the following footage, hope you enjoy

My first ride on a motorbike was on something similar to that, not sure if it was home built or nz built but the resemblance(from my crumby memory) is uncanny,do you know any details on it?
Neat to catch him slip under the fence with ease :wtfsmilie:
I wondered what I had seen on our track Monday arvo, Silvery/brownish with blackish back and single spikes about 6 inches high. Looked just like one from your video so I'm taking it it was a young Fallow Spiker (Buck) ??? I was riding down our track on the quad and he was just standing in the middle of the track. I killed the quad at about 60m from him and just looked at him, he froze and we had a good 5 minute stand off until some movement (Other deer) lower side of the bush made him break for the bush. I have shot Rusa here and he was certainly was small than them, with shorter ears and tail. Totally different colouring too.
